Hi all!
I’m officially back to Dublin since Wednesday and I can say that I just wasn’t ready to see everything so dark at 5pm. It’s that time of the year again!
I was in Portugal the first half of my week, enjoying my last family days in Lisbon. The picture is from my favourite spot, a small town called Obidos. The town is encircled by a castle and it seems like you’re in the Middle Age. So unique! The weather was a bit cloudy but I had a great time. Saying goodbye to your family is one of those things that never gets easier.
I’m glad to be back though, I was actually missing Ireland. If I could say the thing I missed the most, was definitely the coffee. You don’t see many coffee places in Portugal and when you ask for one is literally a sip of expresso coffee. I missed my large mochas with oat milk and brown sugar.
Actually I was missing my routine. Traveling is good but coming back home is also great. It’s good to come back to my usual hours so I’m able to plan my day properly. I’ve been missing a few Zoom calls due to bad connection so I’m looking forward to catch up properly with Abodoo team! Especially with all the buzz from new events and partnerships…. so exciting!
The peak of my week I can definitely say was the interview we conducted with Miriam O’Sullivan on Neurodiversity. Her words expanded my horizons on Diversity. The result was beyond I expected and the feedback was so positive. It was a wonderful and rewarding experience.
I think that’s all for this week guys. With all this cold, wish you all a cosy weekend. See you all next week!

Hi all, how are you doing?
Hope is all great with you.
This week was a great one for me. I have been doing my training from Youth Business International program. Sadly yesterday was the last day and it was really emotional. We had great bonding between the team. It was nice to listen to people who have achieved their goals and pursued their dreams.
I’ve learned one thing I’d like to share with you: If you want to understand someone’s behaviour then observe how they handles their failures. Eventually we will also face unexpected events and we must understand that some of them we can’t control. Those situations can make our motivation for working or living, but here’s my suggestion:
Give a little bit of appreciation for yourself and for what you have now.
A lot of people who struggles with failure don’t do this exercise. You not always will get everything you want. But this is the time where you are able to control your emotions and stress to become the best version of yourself.
I know you all have lot of things to do in the weekend.
Thanks for the reading. Do you have any #SmartWorking stories? I’m looking forward to read it!
Lilian
Hello everybody!
Another week full of challenges but with a great learning in return.
We started the week prospecting co-working spaces in the UK. The task was a a bit hard initially but I can already see great results coming for us. Having challenges makes me feel more motivated and happy because they are rewarding and there is always a lesson to be taken from them.
Also, I am very happy with Abodoo’s new and results lately. All the events and partnerships are generating excellent coverage for us. It’s rewarding to be part of this team, I feel very proud! #SmartWorking is indeed the future of workplace:)
