Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a spooky Halloween weekend!
I didn’t celebrate Halloween, but I had a true #SmartWorking week. As I said in our last post, I’m in Portugal since Sunday having some family time with my dad, sister, uncle and auntie. We met in Lisbon and spent the week road tripping around Portugal visiting different cities: Porto, Fatima, Obidos, Batalha and Aveiro.
Portugal is a lovely country and the food is incredible and so cheap compared to Ireland. My favourite spot so far was Porto. Even though it was bit rainy, it’s such a historic and beautiful city with a lot of culture! And with family by my side I couldn’t ask for anything else.
During these days, I dedicated my early mornings and evenings to do work. It’s incredible how relaxing and inspiring it is to travel. Last week I had such a struggle with my creativity and then this week I wrote two articles, updated the reports, created posts, it just flowed so easily. I definitely needed some time away from my routine.
Now that I have experienced #SmartWorking in two different countries, I can say for sure that it’s easy to enjoy a trip and keep up to work. My tip here is to plan and organise your days. Schedule set hours to do your work everyday. And never leave things for the last minute! Actually, #SmartWorking when traveling is an amazing opportunity to find inspiration and get some fresh ideas.
You won’t believe when I say that but I can’t wait to come back home. I get back on Wednesday and on Friday my best friend since 5th grade is coming to Dublin to visit me! I know, I’m having the best end of the year ever 🙂 I’m so grateful for my life….I’m definitely a lucky girl!
Hope you enjoy your weekend and see you all next week people!

This week was completely busy for me.
My thesis’ submission date is due soon so there’s a lot of things to do. When you’re completely involved and focused in a particular task you don’t think about anything else. So my week was just like that, I was so involved in my thesis that I ended up postponing a few of my plans.
Did you ever feel too busy?
We probably all did. You should take one day to manage your week and prioritise responsibilities so you don’t get overload with work. Managing your time table daily or weekly not only gives you more free time but it also avoids you from facing last-minute problems and stressed situations. I know it’s hard to build the habit but give it a try today and start from small tasks.
Let me know about your busy times in comments 🙂

Hi everyone!
I had a very busy but very positive week juggling classes, research and our wonderful zoom calls. Lots of new challenges along the way but learning every day and I’m feeling energetic and very happy with the return being received and being part of such a great #SmartWorking team 🙂
At the moment we are researching co-working spaces in Ireland, in Dublin but also around the country. The research is demanding but also rewarding. Next week we still have a lot to do as we’re starting our prospect list for UK!
Hope you all have a lovely day and weekend!
