#WomensDay2019 Special #SmartWorking Intern Confessions – Week 28
Priyanka
It is women’s week, a time to celebrate all the wonderful, powerful, and inspiring women in the world. This is that time of the year when I am prouder than ever to be a woman. It is truly a blessing. This #WomensDay2019 week is about celebrating the women around us – our loved ones, our mothers, aunts, sisters, teachers, friends. I am truly honoured to be surrounded by such inspiring and supportive women like my mum, grandmas, my sister, cousins and aunts. They have been there every step of the way and I count myself lucky. Besides celebrating women’s week, I have also been catching up on my reading this week, completing assignments and of course, writing fab blog posts for #Abodoo. Also, some good news for y’all. Abodoo is getting hundreds of new jobs on the platform this week so register if you haven’t already and if you have, then please update your #skills list to start getting matched with the perfect #smartworking jobs with some of the top companies out there! Also, have a lovely weekend and #TGIF!

Happy Friday, but more importantly, happy International #WomensDay2019! I am so incredibly blessed with countless empowering women in my life who have made me the strong, confident, powerful female am today. All of the strong women at Abodoo have inspired me beyond measure to see what I can accomplish as a professional.
Hope you all had a great week. I’ve been gearing up for finals as my term ends in 2 weeks! Cue the constant Starbucks runs, lengthy study guides and all-nighter study sessions. On a happier note, my parents and two of my older siblings are visiting my triplet brother and me this weekend! My family is coming for my brother’s a capella competition: think Pitch-Perfect, but in real life! 6 college a cappella groups are invited to compete against each other at Proctors Theater, a beautiful performing center that is right by my campus. Last year my brother’s a cappella group won so hopefully they will secure the victory again!
I am also planning a fun spring break trip with my best friend to Toronto, Ontario! Toronto is just a 3 hour drive from my hometown in Rochester, New York, so we decided it would be an easy visit! If anyone has any suggestions for fun things to do in Toronto with a college-student’s budget, please share! Thanks for reading, have a great weekend!

Happy women’s day to all the lovely women out there and the men supporting them! I feel so blessed to be working in all women’s team and an organisation that is majoritarily run by super inspirational women. There’s so much to learn from all of you here at Abodoo.
This year at Abodoo itself is a great example of how women can come together and make a great impact. Many accolades that have come to us thanks to our wonderful leadership speak volumes about the grit of women.
I hope that you have an amazing #WomensDay2019 and are surrounded by many talented women in your life just like me.
