27th December 2017 Off By Louise O'Conor

Abodoo – the intuitive smartworking career site which promotes remote and flexible working announces that Dan Kiely has invested in their business as they enter their first full year of trading following the official launch of the site in September 2017.

Dan Kiely is an entrepreneur through and through. Heading up his own award winning company Voxpro, Dan thrives in the entrepreneurial realm. He dreams big & encourages innovation in all aspects of his business investments.

Dan has followed Abodoo since its conception and truly believes that Smart Working is the future.  So much so that he decided to invest in the business and the team at Abodoo.

The business has a strong presence in Ireland and is widely supported.  Minister Denis Naughten and the IDA recently spoke at an Abodoo event in Gorey.  Sponsors of Abodoo, OpenEIR are encouraging candidate registration with the roll out of Fibre across Rural Ireland and recent drive time radio interviews attracted registrations from commuters who want to find a career which fits with their lifestyles and cuts out lengthy and costly commutes.

2018 will see Abodoo take the Smart Working Revolution to the UK and Europe and the investment will allow the roll out of this expansion and the accompanying marketing campaign.

Vanessa Tierney, Co-Founder of Abodoo commented:

‘We are all thrilled to be working with Dan.  The investment means so much more than a simple cash transaction.  His experience in international growth will be invaluable to us as we grow.  Candidates are already registering from around the world – Dan’s experience will enable us to capitalize on this with regional and in-country presence and international marketing.’
