Confessions of a #SmartWorking Intern – Week 29
Hi everyone, happy Friday! Hope you all had a splendid week. I am in finals week so my life is currently consumed with academics. Thankfully I will be on spring break in less than a week! Like I mentioned earlier, I will be spending a long weekend in Toronto with my best friend. After Toronto we will be back in Rochester, NY to spend some time with my parents. We also will spend a night visiting my brother at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
Something that’s great amongst all of my stresses in life is knowing that I am still able to work with my Abodoo family no matter when I have class, where I am traveling or which time zone I am in! I am so grateful for the endless opportunities smartworking provides. Everyone should explore how they can make flexible working a part of their lives!
Hi guys, it’s finally Friday and I am thrilled as I’m sure you are too! This week was slightly less crazy compared to the last one because all I had were 3 classes and only one assessment. However, Ireland has currently been hit by Storm Garreth. And I unfortunately got caught in some gale force winds on Tuesday so have been slightly down since then. In my defence, this is my first extreme winter in all of 27 years!
As for work, it’s as splendid as always! Through all the ups and downs of the week, I am glad to be a part of this fabulous family that is #Abodoo. I love working with my fabulous fellow interns who teach me something new each day. I love getting their interesting perspectives on things. All in all, I’m glad I’m a #smartworker!
Hello and happy Friday to all! I’m delighted to recount this week which was a roller coaster ride for me. I travelled to Goa for a friend’s wedding and witnessed the pristine beaches and mad celebrations all in one relaxed yet hectic weekend. I’ve always been a beach person. With sand in my feet and wind in my hair, I hadn’t a worry in the world. The loud sound of waves rang in my ear like the sweetest wind chime. I was completely relaxed because my amazing smart working colleagues held the wall and I managed my work in the other days of week that made me free to tune out for a bit. Ah, the joys of SmartWorking!
